①动词形式：1）Be动词was/were；
2）一般动词过去式动词不分人称加ed
②时间副词：yesterday（morning/afternoon/evening）

Last＋时间：lastweek/lastnight/lastyear/
时间＋ago（~~前）（加具体时间）：twohoursago/fivedaysago/
两小时前5天前
Before以前（不加具体时间），then(atthattime)那时
③使用时机
⑴表示过去的状态或动作。
例如1.Iboughtthisyesterday.我昨天买了这个。Buy的过去式bought
例如2.Therewasanoldtempleoverthere.那里以前有个古老的寺庙。

⑵表示过去习惯的动作usedto+动词原形（过去习惯~~）
例如1.Myfatherusedtosmoke.(Butnowhedoesn’t)
我的爸爸以前抽烟。（现在不抽了。可以省略）
usedto过去发生的。不持续到现在的。
